Q: How much horse power does the new nissan 370z have?
How much horse power does the new nissan 370z have?, and if there is anyone who owns it please tell me how you like it. 
A: My best friend has one and its amazing.
He got the 7 speed auto and gosh its fast.(Fatser than my 09G37 sport).
The 370Z Gets 332BHP and puts down about 280 HP to the rear wheel and 242 foot pounds of torque.
0-60 in the 7 speed auto with VDC off comes up in 4.7 seconds.

I heard about this new 370Z. The new evolution of the original 350Z. I was wondering, how much it costs, how much mileage, and the whole information. Anyone have any idea about this car? It looks like a Porsche. Someone feel free to post any pictures. Thank you.
A: It’s supposed to be more of a TRUE sports car. The current 350z is more of a touring car than a flat out sports car. Weight is down, wheel base is shorter, but horsepower is up (around 337). That adds up to a fast, fun, responsive car. Think Mazda Miata on steriods.
I’d expect mileage to be about the same (25/20 mpg area). Cost will most likely be up- at least for the first few years of production. Perhaps $28,000-ish for a base up to god knows- $36,000 for a full-blown Nismo edition.
Looks-wise, it’s true to the 350z. A little rounder in areas, a little pointy in others. Looking down at the hood and front bumper reminds me alot of the Honda s2000 (very angular). A good evolution in design, IMO. The thing that I have questions about is the rear 1/4 panel where the green house joins the body. That flat, squared off area where the tiny window is looks a bit odd. The factory rims look uninspired as well.

how is it better than the 350z other than its newer and has a 3.7 instead of a 3.5?

it is lighter and has a shorter wheel base so it handles better.

While reading the Feb 2009 edition of Motor trend Magazine, they did the road test on the 370Z. On the summation page, for recommended fuel it say’s Unleaded. This is the first road test summary in this magazine that didn’t specify Premium, Mid-Grade, or Regular

A: Low interest rates low car prices stock market and stocks at all time lows. Why would you tie up almost $40,000 on a car right now? I would purchase the car with everything you want on it and finance the balance as long as you can. Then take your money and invest in (high class stocks) Bonds and other investments. Money for the future how about a 40k down payment on property?

A: It’s release date in the USA is January 2009, so look for them in your dealership very soon.

A: if the others say yes then yes. the 370 is supposed to be smaller in most aspects(length, interior etc.) id answer myself but all the good answers are taken

It was on a bunch of news and articles, that the Nissan GT-R has a blackbox (VSDR)that records daily activities of the car(i.e. rpm, speed ratio). It is a recorder that would help manufactures save money by voiding warranties on cars that have been raced or abused.
So i was wondering if the 2009 or 2010 Nissan 370Z models have the same thing??
P.S. Please don’t confuse this with the EDU, which records data prior to an accident. most cars since the 1990s ALL have this. I am asking about the VSDR for 370Z.
A: I have no clue about whatever BS Nissan is putting in their new cars to screw people out of their warranties, but “most cars since the 1990s” do NOT have anything like that. For damn sure no GM, MOPAR, or Ford for sale in the US has one, and neither do any cars from the other major Japanese makers up til the last year or so. Believe me, every time it is RUMORED that some car company is doing this, the enthusiast community goes apeshit.

A: You should be able to get it for under $40k. It is supposed to be north of $35k. Power will be a little more than the G37 – the Z is supposed to have around 330 hp and around 270 lb-ft. They shortened the wheelbase from 104″ to just under 100″. The whole car is actually like 6.5″ shorter than the 350Z, and is supposed to weigh around 200 lb less. They expect 0-60 in under 5 seconds, as the 370Z is supposed to be taking on the Porsche Cayman.
I can’t wait to see this car in person, the looks are growing on me.

A: The fairlady z is a given nickname for the car. Im not so sure about how come it was given that nickname but for me the 370z is a beauty.

The following can be perceived as rambling, so it is perfectly ok if you just answer the question as is ! Ok, so like this is basically the situation i’m in. My parents (yes i’m a teen) said that they will get me one of those two cars IF i get a perfect 2400 SAT score. I’m not in the habit of counting my chickens before they hatch (i haven’t taken the SAT yet..), but i’m pretty confident in my abilities to get that score (as i have gotten perfect SAT’s on 5 practice tests in the past). Which car do u think i should get as my first car? Keep in mind that i AM a pretty responsible driver, i don’t race between traffics, and hardly gravitate towards the “fast lane”. Both cars come at 26k a pop (after various discounts i believe i can acquire), so price isn’t an issue. The Porsche has one owner, and has been driven 25,000 miles – plus its a convertible which i truly enjoy…it also caries the name of Porsche….But..what are your thoughts? Please feel free to recommend other (less than 25k) sports cars as well! Thank you so much!
A: 370z. The boxster does not carry the name of Porsche. Real Porsche owners (911’s) would never call the boxster a real Porsche.
Q: which is better, the new camaro or the nissan 370z?
i personally like the camaro not because it is in the movie transformers but because it has a classic interior mixed with modern luxury and technology.
A: I agree!! The new camaro is the best.For me Nissan 370z is also cool but it has some lack of ingredient The Muscle, Girl Magnet, and Speed!! haha. as far as i’m concerned the new camaro can always outrun nissan 370z. (just my opinion, no hurt feeling for nissan lovers)
Q: Got a new 370z, need help!?
I just bought myself a new Nissan 370z, its the limited edition yellow. I need some help in terms of what sort of exhaust, rims, stereo, tint, turbo ect. that i should put in it. For the exhaust and turbo I don’t know were to get it installed. This is my first car i want to make sick, and i dont know were to start. I want to try to put the top of the line stuff on it.

A: I don’t get it that the 370Z by itself isn’t enough. Well, consider the warranty. If you don’t care about that, do everything you mentioned. Go to Bondurant racing school and see just what the limits are. That would be a more practical expense than dressing up the car. With top driving skill any car can be enjoyed to its fullest potential, except while sitting in rush hour traffic.
